What is SSC AE & SSC JE Exams?
The Assistant Engineer (AE) and Junior Engineer (JE) examinations are conducted every year to recruit deserving candidates to manage the managerial and technical jobs in the various department. AE JE Exams are conducted both at the State level and Central level. Every state announces vacancies for the post of assistant engineer and junior engineer separately. It is essential for AE JE aspirants to continually check for posts that are advertised on the official websites and dashboards.
SSC Assistant Engineer (SSC AE)
What is SSC AE
Every state has a set pattern for this exam. Some may include a mix of general awareness and technical questions. Some formats may consist of a written exam followed by a viva. Other states may have a combination of compulsory and optional papers to be attempted. You must check for the exam syllabus as well as the format so you can prepare adequately. The duration of the written test could last anywhere between 2 and 3 hours. Most objective sections of the test are conducted online. Some technical and subjective sections of the exam may be done offline as well.

What is SSC JE
SSC JE is an exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). This exam is meant for the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JEs) in various branches of Engineering including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts.
SSC JE Exam Pattern
The SSC JE exam pattern consists of two papers. Paper-I will be a computer-based test, and Paper-II will be an offline exam. Only those candidates who qualify for Paper I will be allowed to appear for Paper-II. The SSC JE Exam pattern for both the paper is given below:

This paper will be objective and contains three sections. The candidate has to solve 200 questions in 2 hours. The details of the Paper I exam pattern is as follows:

Paper-II

SSC JE Cut off

SSC JE Exam Analysis
The SSC JE 2019 exam was held on September 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2019. The exam paper analysis for the same is given below- The SSC JE 2019 Paper 1 was easy to moderate and covered all topics from the SSC JE Syllabus.
The Reasoning section of Paper 1 was easy and most questions were repeated from previous years. Blood Relations questions were of the puzzled base.
General awareness questions were also not very difficult and were moderate. The basic questions that were asked were computer-related. The history questions were considered tricky and also currents affairs questions were asked.
The General Engineering paper was easy but lengthy. Most questions were repeated from previous years. The numerical questions in some shifts were more compared to other shifts.
MPPSC AE
What is MPPSC AE?
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) every year conducts exam for State Engineering Services for the recruitment for the post of Assistant Engineers. MPPSC AE exam is one of the most competitive exams out there where lakhs of students compete to get an opportunity to work as an Assistant Engineer in the State Engineering Services.
MPPSC 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing for MPPSC 2021 exam have to go through a 3-fold process; Prelims exam, Mains exam and an interview. The Prelims examination consists of 2 papers while the Mains exam consists of 6 papers. Candidates that clear the Mains exam will be shortlisted for the interview.
Every right answer carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking in the Prelims exam. Candidates can take the exam in either English or Hindi. An OMR sheet will be provided to mark the answers.
MPPSC 2021 Prelims Exam Pattern
The Prelims exam consisted of two papers; a General Studies paper and a General Aptitude test. The table below shows the marks awarded for each paper along with the duration of each exam.

What is RRB JE?
RRB JE stands for Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer. The Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RRB JE Exam to recruit candidates from the science and engineering backgrounds to fill the various technical positions in the Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Boards were initially set up with the name of service commissions. The Railway Services Commissions were subsequently changed as Railway Recruitment Boards in 1985. In 1998, all the RRBs in the country came under the umbrella organization Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB), which operates directly under the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board).
RRB JE 2021 Exam Pattern
Railway recruitment boards administer the RRB JE test to hire junior engineering candidates through their divisions. The RRB JE exam is carried out in the following phases.

RRB JE 2021 CBT 1 Exam pattern
The first stage of the CBT is the screening test only. This means that the marks secured in CBT 1 will not be considered when preparing the final result. CBT 1 is an aptitude test that works as a filter for most applicants.

RRB JE 2021 CBT 2 Exam Pattern
The RRB JE CBT 2 stage of the examination is the final test because the marks obtained by the candidates are considered final merit. CBT 2 is the final stage of the RRB JE test. If the candidate is medically qualified and meets all RRB JE eligibility requirements, he/she will be chosen if he/she scores above the CBT 2 cut-off. The total number of applicants to be selected for the second stage is 15 times the total Community vacancy of posts notified against the RRB in the 1st stage of the CBT, based on their merit.

RRB JE 2021 Cutoff
The minimum qualification marks for the RRB JE exam shall be decided based on multiple considerations. The main factors affecting the Cut Off marks for the Railway Junior Engineer Examination are:
- The total number of candidates who have completed the exam.
- The total number of vacancies for RRB JE listed in the official notification.
- The difficulty level of the Railway Junior Engineer exam.
- Previous Highest Marks scored by the applicants.
