SSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2022 - Nationality
According to the SSC Junior Engineer 2022 notification, those applying for JE exam must be a citizen of India or must meet any of the below mentioned nationality criteria.

Subject of Bhutan or
-
Subject of Nepal or
-
Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settling in India, or
-
Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East
-
African countries like Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle in India permanently. Candidates belonging from the above countries will have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
